Man in custody following €725k drug seizure
Two people arrested after a major drug seizure in Dublin yesterday have been released without charge.
Gardaí seized cocaine, ecstasy and sleeping tablets with a combined street value of around three-quarters of a million euro during searches of a number of houses in the Walkinstown area.
During searches of a number of houses in the area Gardaí seized cocaine worth €500,000, ecstasy worth €5,000, and sleeping tablets worth €220,000.
The 25-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were arrested and brought to Pearse Street Garda Station.
They have since been released without charge.
A 47-year-old man arrested during the course of a second search at a house in Walkinstown remains in garda custody.
