Hospital officials summoned to Health Committee after Prime Time allegations

Representatives of the Beacon Hospital will attend a special meeting of the Oireachtas Health Committee this afternoon.

Officials from the HSE have also attend to explain rules about procurement practices, in light of allegations that gifts and holidays were received by a number of staff at two hospitals in return for commercially sensitive information.
