Joan Burton believes it is too early for an election pact

The Tánaiste and Labour leader Joan Burton has said it is far too early to talk about an election pact between the coalition partners.

Burton was responding to comments made by former Fine Gael strategist Frank Flannery, who called on both parties to fight the upcoming campaign as a single bloc.
