Ireland made 'discreet' IMF inquiry in 2008, says Cardiff
Ireland made a "discreet" inquiry with the IMF in 2008 about the possibility of being able to access a bailout, Kevin Cardiff said today.
The former secretary-general at the Department of Finance was giving evidence at the Banking Inquiry this afternoon.
