Augmented reality development firm to create jobs in Dublin
Thirty new jobs have been announced at augmented reality development company DAQRI in Dublin.
They have just opened their new European headquarters on Sir John Rogerson's Quay in the city.
The positions will be filled over a two-day Hackathon at Dublin City University today and tomorrow.
More than 100 people will take part in the event, where they will compete to build apps for the company.
Co-founder and managing director of DAQRI International Gaia Dempsey explained that the company builds tracking technologies, tools to create augmented technology and virtual reality hardware that people wear, such as their wearable smart helmet device.
