Bertie Ahern's former constituency office sold

The former constituency office of Bertie Ahern has been sold significantly above its asking price.

The Drumcondra landmark has been purchased for €774,000 - significantly above the sale price of €595,000.

The funds raised through the sale are expected to be used to pay off debt and fund the Fianna Fáil campaign in the next General Election.

The property went on the market in March.
