Explosive made safe in Co Dublin village

The army made safe a viable explosive device in Dublin overnight.

The scene in Newcastle, a village in south-west Dublin, was sealed off at about 4.30am this morning, after the Defence Forces deployed a team to deal with a report of a suspect device outside a house.
