Man dies in Dublin shooting incident

One man has died and another is being treated in hospital following a shooting in West Dublin.

The incident in Blanchardstown occurred at Shelerin Road in the Fortlawn area just after 6pm.

The man's body remains at the scene - which has been sealed off this evening.

The second man is being treated at Connolly Memorial Hospital.

A Garda investigation has been launched.
