Alarming hospital waiting list figures released

Over 480,000 patients are now on waiting lists for hospital treatment, including 94,000 who are waiting over a year.

The latest figures show 414,000 patients were waiting for outpatient treatment at the end of last month, including 84,000 waiting for over twelve months.
