Number of people rescued after canoe capsizes in Derry

Emergency services have rescued a number of people from the River Foyle after a canoe capsized.

They were called to the scene in County Derry near the Prehen Boat House at about 2pm this afternoon.

The PSNI says a number of people have been taken to hospital for treatment while paramedics are treating others on site.
