SIPTU recommends members accept new public-sector pay deal

SIPTU is advising its members to accept the Lansdowne Road Agreement on public-sector pay.

The pay proposals includes €2,000 of pay increases over three phases between January, 2016 and September 2017.

A secret ballot on the issue is due to be completed by SIPTU by July 23, following a period of extensive membership consultation and information.

The TUI and IMO are recommending that their members reject the proposals,
