Two due in court in connection with Dublin weapons seizure

Two men are due in court in Dublin this morning, charged in connection with a seizure of firearms on Friday.

The men, aged 38 and 44, are due appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court in the Criminal Courts of Justice.

The men were arrested during an operation in the Clonshaugh area of north Dublin.

Members of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, assisted by the Emergency Response Unit and national units, stopped and searched a car and a van and recovered firearms and ammunition.
