Mr Curtin said he has tried to reform the party with others but voices like his are being lost.

I've lots of friends in @fiannafailparty & still believe in its potential but as of now voices like mine are lost in there unforutunately

Yesterday, Senator Power announced her resignation, and launched a stinging attack on Fianna Fáil, saying it is not fit for government.

Senator Power said the party's cynical approach to the marriage referendum was the final straw.
