CSO numbers show fall in unemployment for 33 consecutive months

Employment rose by 2.2% in the first three months of 2015 - pushing the unemployment rate has dipped below 10% for the first time in seven years.

The Quarterly National Household survey, carried out by the CSO, has found that almost two million people were in work in Ireland in that time.
