Gardai have confirmed that the body of a woman found in a house in Limerick is that of Julie Holmes Ruttle.

Gardaí have confirmed that the body of a woman found in a house in Limerick is that of Julie Holmes Ruttle.

Ms Holmes Ruttle, who was in her 60s, was discovered alongside the remains of a man in a house in Askeaton on Monday.

She was wanted by Gardaí, the PSNI and the FBI on fraud charges.

The man has been named locally as farmer Thomas Ruttle, who was 56. However he has yet to be formally identified.
