Gardai have confirmed that the body of a woman found in a house in Limerick is that of Julie Holmes Ruttle.

The head of a children’s charity and the manager of a Galway-based company have told of their encounters with conwoman Julia Holmes, who is believed to have been found dead with her partner Tom Ruttle in their home in Askeaton, Co Limerick, on Monday morning.

Three members of the Travelling community who discovered the bodies of Thomas Ruttle and Julia Holmes during a break-in to the Ruttle home early on Monday are expected to be charged with attempted burglary.
