Noonan promises 'equivalence of approach' with private-sector workers

Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has said that public-sector workers will not be the only sector to benefit from the next Budget.

Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin is beginning talks with unions this week, to discuss the gradual reversal of pay cuts imposed during the economic crisis.
