Abandoned baby rushed to Tallaght Hospital

A baby has been found abandoned in Rathcoole, south county Dublin.

The infant was reportedly found in a plastic bag in an industrial estate.

Gardaí say they received a report this afternoon and a unit, as well as an ambulance, was despatched to the scene.

The baby has been rushed to Tallaght Hospital.
