Ciara Breen disappearance: Man released without charge

Gardaí have released without charge a man being questioned over the disappearance of a Dundalk teenager 18 years ago.

Ciara Breen was 17 when she went missing from Bachelors Walk in Dundalk in the early hours of February 13, 1997.

A man in his 50s was arrested yesterday morning after new information came to light about the case.

He has been released from Drogheda Garda Station this morning, and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
