Taoiseach seriously concerned about potential UK exit from EU

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said a British exit from the EU would be a “serious concern” after a new study found it could force Ireland to pay up to €200m more to Brussels every year.

The Open Europe think-tank has said the impact would be felt more in Ireland than in the UK and it would see the return of a physical customs border with the North.
