PSNI 'may have to return £14m' to UK Govt
The PSNI will probably have to return £14m to the British Government next month due to uncertainty caused by “huge” cuts, the UK's deputy chief constable said.
Money lost to the force would have been invested in securing officer numbers and efficiency-generating technology by police managers in other parts of the UK, Drew Harris added.
