Man due in court in connection with shots fired in Co Meath
A 31-year-old man is due to appear in court later charged in connection with an investigation into reports of shots being fired in County Meath on Friday.
Gardaí arrested two men - aged 19 and 31- under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act on Saturday.
Officers also recovered a firearm and ammunition following a Garda operation in Readstown, Summerhill, Co Meath.
The 31-year-old man is due to appear before the District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin this morning.
The 19-year-old man has been released from Garda custody and is due to appear before Trim District Court at a later date.
