Homes evacuated after device found in Waterford

A suspicious device has been found in Waterford city.

It was discovered in Ardmore Park in Ballybeg shortly after 11am this morning

A number of homes have been evacuated and the Army Bomb Disposal Team are en route from Cork.

The area remains sealed off and emergency services are at the scene.
