Adams: Taoiseach should clear up his role in Callinan inquiry

Sinn Fein is urging the Taoiseach to say whether he is one of three people called to give more evidence to the Fennelly Inquiry.
The investigation into the resignation of Martin Callinan says three witnesses had to be called back, to deal with allegations made by others.
Last night Enda Kenny refused to say if he was one of those three.
Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams said he himself gave evidence to the Inquiry, and can't understand why the Taoiseach won't give a yes or no answer.
"I don't on earth understand why he either says no he wasn't or yes he was.
"I gave evidence to the Fennelly commission, and I've no problem saying that - if they send for me again, I've no problem saying that.
"Let the Taoiseach clear this up - it's over to him."
He said the Taoiseach's refusal was fuelling speculation around the retirement of the Garda Commissioner, the resignation of Minister Alan Shatter, and movement of the department's Secretary General.
