Woman critical and four others in hospital after serious Cork accident

A woman is in a critical condition and four others are in hospital after a serious road crash in Co Cork.

The five vehicle accident happened on the N20 Cork to Mallow road near Rathduff at around 2pm this afternoon.

Two cars, two vans and a truck are said to have been involved with the collision.

The injured, including a four-year-old boy, have been taken to Cork University Hospital.

The road is closed and diversions are in place.
