PSNI hunt for armed robber in Derry

In the North, police are investigating an armed robbery at a shop in Derry yesterday.

It happened in the Laurel Hill Road area at around 6.20pm.

It is understood a man, believed to be in his mid 20s and armed with a knife, made off from the shop with a sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
