A female social welfare tourist who fraudulently claimed more than €6,000 in benefits has escaped a conviction.

Dalia Rudaleviciene (aged 55) from Juragiai in the Kaunas District of Lithuania appeared before Limerick District Court today after she was charged with a theft offence.
