The ESB will be sentenced in March in relation to a work place incident which led to the death of an employee.

22-year-old Shane Conlon from Santry in Dublin, an apprentice electrician, died after being electrocuted at an ESB substation in Finglas on 15 January 2013.

A date of March 9 has been set when the full facts of the case will be heard.

The company has pleaded guilty to failing in its duty to ensure the safety of an employee.
