Burton: Water meter replacements will cost less than installation

The Tánaiste has insisted that the cost of replacing water meters - which will not be used during the first third of their expected lifespan - will be far smaller than the cost of installing them.

Fianna Fáil questioned Joan Burton in the Dáil as to why €500 million was being spent on the meters that won't even be used for the first five years.
