A family syndicate from the Midlands has picked up a half a million euro cheque, from a EuroMillions plus draw.

They won the prize in the St Stephen's Day draw, with a €6 quick pick ticket which was bought in Tuthills Store, Laois Shopping Centre in Portlaoise on Christmas Eve.
