Ireland's Ambassador to Egypt Isolde Moylan will attend the opening day of an Irish teenager's trial in Cairo today.

Nineteen-year-old Dubliner Ibrahim Halawa, whose parents are Egyptian, has been in custody since August 2013, when he and his three sisters were detained at a mosque in the centre of Cairo.
