HSE asks that patients stay away from hospital emergency department

People are being asked not to attend the emergency department at the Midland Regional Hospital in Westmeath.

In a statement from the HSE, it said that the department is very busy tonight and requested that people should not attend the Emergency Department unless it is absolutely necessary.
