Man dies in tragic farm accident in Cork

Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have begun separate investigations following the death of a 40-year-old father of two in a farm accident in Co Cork on New Year's Eve.

The man was fatally injured when he was crushed by a JCB while feeding cattle at the family farm at Ballyhillogue in Mourneabbey near Mallow at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.
