€84k settlement for survivors of school child abuse

The State is to make out of court settlements with 44 survivors of school child abuse whose cases fall within the Louise O'Keeffe European Court of Human Rights ruling.

Ms O'Keeffe - who was abused by a teacher in the 1970's - took the case to Europe after our Supreme Court ruled the State was not liable.
