A man aged in his 40s is recovering in hospital in Cork this afternoon after being stabbed a number of times on Friday night.

A man aged in his 40s is recovering in hospital in Cork this afternoon after being stabbed a number of times on Friday night.

The 49-year-old was found by a group of men on North Street in Skibbereen at around 11pm.
