The Government is being asked to increase the rent supplement to prevent more families losing their homes.

Latest figures form the Dublin Region Homeless Executive show the number of children sleeping in hotels, hostels and other emergency accommodation in Dublin went up by more than 60 between October and November - from 680 to 741.
