Gardaí release man held in connection with 'gun threat' to water meter installer

A man, arrested in Co Clare yesterday after a water meter installer was threatened with a gun, has today been released without charge.

The man, aged in his 50s, had been held at Ennis Garda Station following the alleged incident in Clarecastle yesterday morning.
