Kenny: Protesters showed 'scant regard' for safety of women and children

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said that water charge protesters in Sligo last night showed "scant regard" for the safety of women and children.

Hundreds of people turned out for an anti-water charge protest and a number of demonstrators surrounded Enda Kenny's car as he arrived, while one man climbed on the bonnet.
