Gardaí seize €750k of heroin in Louth

Gardaí have seized heroin with an estimated value of €750,000 in Co Louth.

The Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit and Organised Crime Unit made the seizure following the search of a car at Castlebellingham last night at around 10pm.

A man, aged 38, was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
