Irish Water: Tenants still liable for unpaid bill after they move out

Irish Water has moved to clarify the liability of landlords and tenants regarding who pays the water bill.

The new utility company says that a tenant is responsible for paying for their own usage, but that in the event that a tenant has not registered with Irish Water it will contact the landlord to ensure the responsible party receives the bill.
