Electric Ireland claims 'significant turnaround' in customer arrears

Electric Ireland says it has achieved a "significant turnaround" in the number of customers in serious arrears in the past three years.

The retail arm of the ESB is predicting their disconnection rate for non-payment of bills should drop to 30 per 10,000 customers by the end of this year.
