University Hospital Limerick nurses call for major emergency plan to be activated

Nurses are calling for the implementation of a major emergency plan at University Hospital Limerick because of serious overcrowding.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there were 47 patients on trolleys in the hospital's emergency department this morning.
