Northern Ireland’s First Minister Peter Robinson has paid tribute to the late Ian Paisley as the undisputed leader of unionism.

Political parties from all sides offered heartfelt thoughts of the churchman and politician’s legacy at a special sitting of the Stormont Assembly as the family held a private funeral in Belfast.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
