Scene preserved as gardaí investigate alleged sex assault in Waterford

Gardaí are investigating reports of an alleged sexual assault in Waterford City overnight.

The incident is alleged to have happened at the Millennium Plaza at around 4am.

Gardaí say the scene has been preserved while they carryout an examination.
