Coveney: I won't send Irish troops into a Syrian civil war

The Defence Minister has insisted he won't send Irish troops into the middle of a Civil War in Syria.

Simon Coveney said Irish troops will continue to operate in a peacekeeping mission in the Golan Heights if the UN comes up with a strategy to respond to changes on the ground.
