Woman in her fifties to appear in court after heroin seizure

A 55-year-old woman is due in court this morning, charged in connection with a drug seizure in Dublin earlier this week.

Around €150,000 worth of heroin was discovered by officers during the search of a house in Ballyfermot on Wednesday.

The raid was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the area.

A 55-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and she will appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
