Four men arrested after gardaí find 118 cannabis plants

Four men are due in court in Longford at 10.30am this morning charged in connection with a drug seizure in Granard yesterday.

Four men are due in court in Longford at 10.30am this morning charged in connection with a drug seizure in Granard.

Some 118 cannabis plants - worth around €94,000 in total - and one kilo of cannabis herb - worth around €20,000 were found when Gardaí searched a house at Dalystown yesterday.

The men - a 28 year old, a 29 year old and two 33 year olds - were arrested and brought to Roscommon, Longford and Granard Garda Stations.
