Gardaí make series of raids against organised crime in Waterford

Around 100 Gardaí are taking part in a series of searches targeting organised crime in Waterford city.

The officers include members of the Criminal Assets Bureau, the Regional Support unit and the Air Support unit.

They have been searching a number of properties across the city and the operation is understood to be ongoing.
