Man for court in connection with Wicklow filling station robbery

A man is due to appear in court this morning in connection with a robbery at a filling station in Co Wicklow over the weekend.

The incident happened at a premises in Blessington shortly after 10pm on Saturday night.

Two men were arrested by gardai and a 40-year-old man will be brought before the Criminal Courts Of Justice this morning.

A second man remains in custody.
