RNLI rescue man and his dog from tidal rock

Ballycotton RNLI has rescued a man and his dog this afternoon.

The Co Cork volunteer lifeboat crew was requested to launch at 12.13pm at the request of the Coast Guard which had received a report from the Garda that a man who was out walking his dog had got into difficulty and was stranded on a tidal rock two miles west of Ballycotton.
